In French, the “sot-l’y-laisse” is known as the best part of the chicken meat, hidden under the legs. I think in English it’s told “oyster”. But “Sot-l’y-laisse” is a quite poetic and funny expression, because it literally means “stupid-leaves-here”, meaning that only stupid people leave this part on the chicken because they can’t find it. And I like to think that the little bump just above the bum crack is the human version of the “sot-l’y-l’aisse” 🐔❤️ https://ift.tt/2zLfrnN
